1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at https://alasvegasmedicalgroup.com and any related pages, forms, and features (collectively, the "Site"), and your participation in our text message (SMS) program.
By accessing or using the Site, submitting a form, or opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or opt in to our text messages.
In these Terms, "we," "us," "our," and "ALVMG" mean A Las Vegas Medical Group. "You" and "your" mean the person accessing the Site or receiving our messages.
2. No Medical Advice — Important Health Notice
The content on this Site, including provider biographies, service descriptions, patient resources, and educational materials, is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional diagnosis, treatment, or care from a qualified health care provider.
- Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified health professional with any questions you have about a medical condition.
- Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read on this Site.
- Reliance on any information on this Site is solely at your own risk.
Emergencies
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately. Do not use this Site, our contact forms, our patient portal, or text messaging to report an emergency or an urgent medical concern. These channels are not monitored continuously and are not appropriate for urgent care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
3. No Provider-Patient Relationship
Using this Site, submitting a contact form or appointment request, or exchanging text messages with our office does not create a provider-patient relationship between you and A Las Vegas Medical Group or any of our providers. A provider-patient relationship is established only through an in-person or scheduled telehealth visit, after appropriate intake and registration.
Appointment requests submitted through the Site are requests only and are not confirmed until our staff contacts you and confirms the appointment.
4. Do Not Send Sensitive Information Through Unsecured Channels
Website contact forms, standard email, and standard text messaging are not secure or encrypted. Do not use them to send detailed medical information, test results, diagnoses, images, insurance card scans, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive information.

5. Patient Portal and Third-Party Services
Our patient portal is provided by athenahealth, a third-party vendor. Your use of the portal is subject to athenahealth's own terms of use and privacy policy in addition to these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your portal credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at (702) 733-0744 if you suspect unauthorized access.
6. SMS Terms of Service
By opting into SMS from a web form, patient intake form, in-office request, verbal confirmation, or other medium, you are agreeing to receive SMS messages from A Las Vegas Medical Group. This includes SMS messages for conversations (external), appointment reminders, and account notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. See our privacy policy at alasvegasmedicalgroup.com/privacy-policy.html. Message HELP for help. Reply STOP to any message to opt out.
6.1 Types of Messages You Can Expect to Receive
If you opt in, you may receive text messages from us including:
- Appointment reminders, confirmations, and rescheduling notices for adult medicine and pediatric visits
- Account and practice notifications, such as office closures, holiday hours, schedule changes, provider updates, and new patient forms to complete
- Care follow-up and recall reminders, such as annual physicals, well-child visits, immunizations due, lab or referral follow-up prompts, and prescription or refill notifications
- Billing and payment notifications, such as balance reminders and payment confirmations
- Conversational replies from our staff in response to messages you send us
6.2 Message Frequency
Messaging frequency may vary. The number of messages you receive depends on your appointment schedule, your care needs, and how often you message us. In most cases you will receive only a small number of messages per month.
6.3 Cost
Message and data rates may apply. A Las Vegas Medical Group does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates apply. Check with your wireless provider for details about your plan.
6.4 How to Opt Out
To opt out at any time, text STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a single confirmation message and will not receive further text messages from us unless you opt back in. You may also opt out by calling our office at (702) 733-0744 or by telling any staff member at your next visit.
To rejoin after opting out, reply START or contact our office.
6.5 How to Get Help
For assistance, text HELP or visit our website at https://alasvegasmedicalgroup.com. You may also call us at (702) 733-0744 during business hours, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (closed 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.).
6.6 Consent Is Voluntary
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving treatment from A Las Vegas Medical Group, nor is it a condition of purchasing any good or service. You may decline or withdraw consent at any time without affecting your care.
6.7 Privacy of Your Mobile Number
SMS consent is not shared with third parties. Your mobile number and your consent to receive text messages are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share your mobile number only with the service providers who help us deliver these messages, and only for that purpose. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6.8 Carriers, Delivery, and Your Responsibilities
- Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier and is not guaranteed. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Supported carriers may change without notice.
- You represent that you are the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you provide, and that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
- You agree to notify us promptly if you change or discontinue your mobile number so that messages intended for you are not delivered to a subsequent holder of that number.
- SMS is not encrypted. Messages may be visible on your lock screen or to anyone with access to your device.
7. Acceptable Use of the Site
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, or impersonate another person
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, our systems, our patient portal, or any account
- Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Use automated means such as bots, scrapers, or crawlers to access or collect data from the Site without our written permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site or the networks connected to it
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or defame our staff, providers, or other individuals through any form or messaging channel we provide
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or our messaging program at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, provider biographies, patient forms, page layouts, and the compilation of all content — is the property of A Las Vegas Medical Group or its licensors and is protected by United States copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may view, download, and print Site content for your own personal, non-commercial use in connection with your care. You may not otherwise reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission. The A Las Vegas Medical Group name and logo may not be used without our written consent.
9. Third-Party Links and Content
The Site contains links to third-party websites, including our patient portal, our Facebook page, our Yelp listing, and external health and educational resources. We provide these links for convenience only. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, accuracy, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party site. Accessing a linked site is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms.
10. Accuracy and Availability
We work to keep the Site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that Site content is complete, accurate, or up to date. Provider availability, services offered, insurance participation, office hours, and other details are subject to change without notice. Please call (702) 733-0744 to confirm current information.
We do not guarantee that the Site will be available at all times, uninterrupted, or free of errors. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties

12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, A LAS VEGAS MEDICAL GROUP AND ITS OWNERS, PROVIDERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE OR OUR TEXT MESSAGE PROGRAM — INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOST DATA, LOST PROFITS, OR UNDELIVERED OR DELAYED MESSAGES — EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
This limitation does not apply to claims arising out of the professional medical care we provide, and does not limit any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless A Las Vegas Medical Group and its owners, providers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
14. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
15. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and A Las Vegas Medical Group regarding the Site and our text message program. Your treatment relationship with us is separately governed by the consent, financial, and authorization forms you sign at our office, and by our Notice of Privacy Practices.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted to this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Site or continued participation in our text message program after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
